Construction Stage
NZ$900 million

The Kupe gas/condensate field was discovered in 1986 and is currently New Zealand’s largest gas field under development. The Kupe development will comprise a normally unmanned offshore platform, a 30 km pipeline to shore, an onshore production station and up to 6 wellheads. The pipeline will transport the product stream to the onshore production station, where the raw gas will be processed and the condensate and LPG separated.

Current Project Status

The Kupe Project is underway with Origin Energy and Technip undertaking the construction as a formal Alliance. The Design and Project Management will be managed out of Technip’s Perth Office with construction offices in New Plymouth and at the onshore facility site.

The Alliance is now in the process of seeking competitive local industry with experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.

All tender information will be controlled via Technip’s Website interface and any Companies wishing to tender for activity within this project must register on www.epc-business.com.
